Oatmeal coffee into the secondary

Breakfast beer went into the secondary fermenter last night. As always I drew off a sample first to get a gravity reading so I could know where we were in the process. Specific gravity was 1.012, as expected most of the sugar at this point has been converted to alcohol however it is still working and I will let it sit another couple weeks at least, really till the gravity stabilizes, probably somewhere not far from where we are now. Final alcohol looks to be somewhere in the 5.5% range.

The color was more a deep brown than the black I had expected but the brew is nowhere near clear at this point, so we will see what happens in the next couple weeks. I did taste it however, it has a nice malt character with a very subtle hint of coffee in the finish, not overpowering as I had feared, I think next time I can safely use a bit more coffee.
Some of you have asked me what I use to calculate my ABV, Rooftop Brew has a great tool on their website and I do suggest you check it out if you are looking for a good one, I like the way it displays everything.
